Hotel Agencies Pty Ltd online shopping is subject to the following conditions. Please read our term and condition thoroughly as by using our website and making a purchase, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions as set out below. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use this site.
AUSTRALIAN DELIVERY ONLY
We do not deliver outside of Australia. Hotel Agencies sell and ship products only within Australia.
All purchases online for metro area will incur a delivery fee in accordance to the distance and size and volume of the goods. Delivery or Freight cost may change due to bulk items and extreme weight and our customer service team will notify you accordingly.
For regional areas and interstate delivery, our customer service team will contact you to discuss the delivery or freight costs prior to dispatch of your merchandise.
PICK UP OF MERCHANDISE
Hotel Agencies Pty will NOT allow the pick up of any merchandise if a Victorian identification is not produced at the time of pickup.
ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
In order to be eligible to purchase through our web site, you will be required to register and provide your personal details. Once you have registered to use our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
Hotel Agencies Pty Ltd does not sell products for purchase by children. We sell products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18, you may use Hotel Agencies online services only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Hotel Agencies Pty Ltd reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.
ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER AND UNACCEPTABLE ORDERS
When you place an order online, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of the order. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order; it is just a confirmation that we have received your request.
Hotel Agencies Pty reserves the right to reject an order if, in its opinion (acting reasonably), the order is unacceptable.
INCORRECT DETAILS SUPPLIED
Please note that acceptance of your order implies that we will fulfil your order within the time specified in the Delivery Standards. The following situations are exceptions:
- If and when incorrect payment details, including credit card details, are supplied;
- Where correct credit cards details are supplied but funds are not approved.
- Where fraudulent activity is suspected / identified
- Where cleared funds through your nominated payment method have not been received
In the event that you supply incorrect payment or delivery details, Hotel Agencies will take all reasonable steps to contact you using the personal details that you have provided. In the event that your supplied contact details are incorrect, however, Hotel Agencies will not be held responsible for not fulfilling your order, nor for being unable to advise you that this is the case.
STOCK AVAILABILITY
Hotel Agencies Pty Ltd will endeavour to supply all items publicised Online.
Similarly, products will be removed from the Hotel Agencies’ web site as soon as Hotel Agencies becomes aware that those items are unavailable. However, there may be unavoidable occasions when:
- All or part of your order cannot be fulfilled immediately, or
- All or part of your order cannot be fulfilled at all
Where part of an order cannot be fulfilled immediately, the part that can be supplied will be dispatched as soon as possible.
Where part of your order cannot be fulfilled at all you will be advised as soon as possible by email, telephone or fax.
All products with a limited sales period, which are displayed on the Hotel Agencies web site, will have the withdrawal date clearly shown.
However, where a product which does not have a specified sales period becomes unavailable due to unexpected or high demand, and that item is ordered by you before Hotel Agencies has withdrawn that item from the Hotel Agencies web site, Hotel Agencies will not be held responsible for inability to complete that order. In this instance, you will be advised ASAP by email or telephone.
CHANGES TO AVAILABILITY
On rare occasions, there could be an unavoidable need to change or withdraw a product. When this occurs, you will be advised either by email, by mail, or depending upon which contact details you have provided.
PROMOTIONAL & SALE ITEMS
- The promotions and sales prices that are offered on Hotel Agencies Pty Ltd that are available online may not correspond to those in our showroom. Hotel Agencies may operate other promotions and sales concurrently.
- Hotel Agencies reserves the right to extend or withdraw a promotional or sale offer at any time without notice.
- Some online promotions and offers may be subject to additional terms and conditions, which will be specified with the offer on Hotel agencies web site. E.g. ( the duration of the promotion or sale and the return policy,). Please pay attention to these additional terms and conditions carefully.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS ACCURACY
Duty of care has been taken to ensure that the products and descriptions of them on this site are accurate as possible. We do not, however, promise or represent that it is accurate, complete, reliable, current or free from errors or omissions and we reserve the right to make any necessary corrections. You should enquire with us directly to ensure the accuracy and currency of the material you seek to rely upon. If a product offered by Hotel Agencies online services is not as described itself, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.
FORCE MAJEURE
To the extent permitted by law, Hotel Agencies is not liable for any delay in performing any of its obligations under these terms & conditions if such delay is caused by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Hotel Agencies, and Hotel Agencies shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of time for the performance of such obligations.
GIFT CARDS – FREQUENTLY ASK QUESTIONS
Where can I purchase a gift card?
Our gift cards can be purchased in our showroom or online.
What value can I put on the gift card?
Any value nominated value between $25.00 to $1000.00 in our showroom and online as per the gift card’s display banner.
When will the gift card expire?
The gift card will expire 12 months from the date of purchase. If you have any query on the expiry date on your gift card please contact our customer service team on 03 9411 8888.
Is there anything I can’t use my gift card for?
The gift card can be only be used for purchases by visiting our showroom.
Can I return or refund a gift card?
The gift card is not redeemable for cash and Gift cards are not refundable.
Can I return purchases made using my gift card?
Goods purchased by the gift card can be returned and will be subject to our showroom return policy which will be applicable. You only need to bring the item in the same condition that it was purchased along with your receipt.
What should I do if my gift card is damaged, lost or stolen?
Gift card is as good as cash. You are responsible for keeping it safe at all times. Unfortunately, lost or stolen cards will not be replaced or refunded. If however, your card appears to be damaged in any way, please bring it our showroom and a staff member will check it for you.
REFUND POLICY
All products sold by Hotel Agencies Pty Ltd must be:
- Fit for all the purposes for which goods of that kind are commonly supplied
- Acceptable in appearance and finish
- Free from defects
- Safe
- Durable
You can return an item to us if:
- it's faulty
- it's incorrectly described
- it's different from a sample shown
- it doesn't do what we said it would do
- it's not of an acceptable quality
If the product is unsafe, can't be fixed within a reasonable time, or you simply would not have bought it given the nature of the defect, we'll offer you an exchange, repair or refund.
To ask for an exchange, repair or refund, you will need to prove that you purchased the product via the Hotel Agencies. If you cannot provide an order confirmation, another form of proof of purchase will be required.
If the product is assessed to be faulty or unfit for its intended purpose, refunds will be issued using the same method as your original payment.
RETURN AUTHORISATION AND TO RECEIVE CREDIT POLICY
We will accept return of merchandise only if in saleable condition and notification is within 7 days of receipt .We will Issue Credit to your account or Credit Card in Australian dollars. For unwanted merchandise, the cost of return shipping shall be the responsibility of the customer.
REPLACEMENT MERCHANDISE
We will, upon your request, replace any merchandise that is received in damaged condition or because of a picking error. No material will be accepted or replacements issued without prior approval to return such merchandise. Filing of claims will be our responsibility.
GOODS & SERVICES TAX (GST)
We are required to automatically charge and withhold the applicable GST for orders to be delivered to addresses within Australia. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all Goods and Services Taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to any other state or country.
RISK OF LOSS
All items purchased from Hotel Agencies Pty Ltd are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
When you visit Hotel Agencies Pty Ltd or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site.
